Courtney Adolphe
Occupational Therapist
Hello! I’m Courtney, a bubbly and friendly Occupational Therapist all the way from New Zealand and have a genuine passion for supporting children and their families. My approach to therapy is calm, gentle, and nurturing, creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel at ease. I know therapy can seem a bit daunting, but I will be right there with a big smile, ready to make each session a positive and even fun experience.
I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, where I grew up surrounded by beautiful beaches, friendly faces, and my golden retriever Marlow, who never fails to brighten everyone’s day. While Auckland will always feel like home, I’ve been fortunate to do lots of travelling, which inspired me to make the big move to London to embrace new opportunities and explore Europe.
I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences, specialising in Infant, Child & Adolescent Mental Health, from the University of Auckland. I have worked within Auckland’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as part of an acute-focused team supporting children and youth (0–18 years), with moderate to severe mental health challenges. One of the most rewarding parts of this role was facilitating weekly therapy groups, something I found very rewarding.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me nannying (a role I’ve loved for over a decade), heading out for walks or swims with Marlow, or baking cakes and brownies, most of which I somehow always manage to finish myself…!
