Speech & Language Therapist

Përshëndetje! Hi there! I am originally from Kukës, a city in northeastern Albania known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant community life. Growing up in this environment encouraged me to embrace creativity and a love for learning. My imagination was fueled by stories of both local heroes, such as Skanderbeg, Albania’s national hero, and international figures like Peter Pan, Superman, Harry Potter, Anastasia, and Ariel. These influences inspired me to pursue a path dedicated to helping others, particularly children facing communication challenges.

Since I was a child, I’ve always been passionate about helping others, whether it was assisting with homework or supporting peers who struggled with interaction and communication. I was especially devoted to helping my younger twin brother and sister. I would teach them, create assessments, and make sure they were learning effectively.

This early dedication sparked a deep appreciation for communication and human connection, which led me to pursue a career as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). What I love most about being an SLT is helping individuals unlock their potential by finding their voice, enabling them to express themselves and build meaningful relationships.

During my internship at a school for children with autism, I had one of my first direct experiences supporting a child with communication challenges. I spent three months working closely with a young girl, and when she learned a new word from me, it was an incredibly rewarding moment. That experience showed me that I was truly capable of making a difference and reinforced my passion for helping children improve their communication skills. Since that day, I have been fully dedicated to this work.

I hold both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech and Language Therapy, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Child Psychology from the UK. Since 2018, I have worked with little ones with autism, speech delays, articulation disorders, global developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping individuals overcome communication barriers.

Outside of work, I am a curious and creative person with a love for adventure. I enjoy traveling, swimming, playing volleyball, and dancing. I also have a passion for fashion, skincare, and cooking, and I’m a bit obsessed with healthy eating. My unique interests and enthusiasm bring energy and creativity to my therapy sessions, making my approach both engaging and relatable. I believe every interaction is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
