Shabreen Jorammanawar

ABA Supervisor

Hello, I’m Shabreen and I grew up in Bangalore, India. I spent most of my life there, and it is where I picked up my love for filter coffee as south India is well-known for filter coffee. It is not a surprise when I travel miles on weekends just for a cup of authentic filter coffee and, of course, chocolate dessert!

After pursuing a master’s degree in clinical psychology, I started working in a SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in India. Meanwhile, I continued my research to improve myself and learn new skills, and that is when I heard about ABA from one of my friends. This discovery led me to travel all the way from India to the United Kingdom in 2019 to pursue my second master’s degree in ABA. I completed my degree in a beautiful town called Bangor in North Wales—that place and the people of Bangor have my heart!

Upon completion of my master’s degree in ABA, I moved to London to start my professional journey in ABA. Currently I am working towards becoming a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and am just one exam away! My love and passion for ABA come from my daily interactions with the little ones that I work with. Their progress and their smiles are what reinforces me to keep improving myself and become better at what I do. Every single day, I take home these little rewards that I get from the kiddos I have the opportunity to work with.

So next time you spot someone on Tube with ABA stickers on their laptop, phone or a keychain on their bag, know that it is me!
