I spent my childhood growing up in different countries due to my parent’s job. This was a fun and exciting way to see and experience different cultures and sports; starting with cricket and swimming which were exchanged for skates and stick in taking up ice hockey when we moved to Canada.

Working with children has always been a part of my life as I was involved in the ‘Big Brother’ program in Toronto. I also worked at a nature camp, where all activities and events were related to teaching little ones everything to do with bugs.

After studying engineering as an undergraduate, I found working with small businesses very intriguing. I initially worked on the management side of new ventures before returning to school for an MBA at Syracuse University in New York State. I then moved to the capital side through investing and facilitating sales of businesses. My ultimate goal was to found my new venture.

When we launched The Children’s Place, it was the fulfilment of this long-term goal. It is even more fulfilling as I received speech therapy myself when younger and fully realise the positive impact this has on one’s life. I have met so many great families through this adventure and am looking forward to meeting much more!

Outside of TCP I enjoy endurance races and can be found running around London and the countryside in my spare time. Travel is another interest as I always take up the opportunity to explore new, fun and curious places and things.
